What is Tamaskans Against Puppy Mills?
Tamaskans Against Puppy Mills was started in 2016 in an effort to offer resources and information to better educate and support the Tamaskan Dog community. As a growing breed, a dog bred to be an all around family dog with noteable lupine appearances. There are breeders all over the world. Unfortunately, there are a few out there that are not real/sanctioned Tamaskan Dog breeders, these are actually Puppy Mills, branches, and individuals who claim to be selling Tamaskan Dogs, but are actually selling mixed breed dogs, dogs with no health testing that look similar to Tamaskan Dogs,or started with the breed but failed to comply with the breed preservation and protections in place with the officail Tamaskan Dog breed organizations.
This site is here to help you learn the differences between reputable and non-reputable breeders, where breeders are located and how to contact them, facts against the non-reputable breeders, and even information on where you can find dogs that look similar to Tamaskan Dogs. All this information can be found scattered through Facebook, forums, and other sites around the internet. We hope that having it all here will make it easier for you to decide who you want to adopt your next puppy or dog from, whether it be a Tamaskan Dog, a simialr breed, or a mixed breed.
